Information on HEALTH (Human and Animal) products
Much of the health research on Fulvic and Humic acid has been done in countries such as China, Germany and Russia where scientists see these substances as the missing link in the human diet. Most humic/fulvic health research in the United States has been stymied by big pharma, and research is limited to Ag and vet practice. Even in veterinary medicine, where humates have proven benefits for livestock and dairy, it is prohibited to sell as a feed additive, as it replaces much of the need for antibiotics. Only the pet industry allows humic and fulvic acid to be sold for health...and even this is an issue because lack of regulation (acceptance and then guidelines) means that many toxic products can be sold and labeled as healthy humic and/or fulvic acid. This is why it's so important to know who you're getting your products from, what's in them, and how they have been processed!
